The Brigade School , Bangalore
About
A nurturing environment from Nursery to Std 12
We are a secular, non-residential, co-educational school based in Bangalore.
The Brigade School @ Mahadevapura opened on 18 June 2009 with classes extending from Nursery to Standard 5. New classes will be added each year up to Standard 12.
The school is managed by the Brigade Foundation. We believe that: Each child is a unique individual who possesses inherent potential of different types. Our objective is to identify, tap and develop this potential. To do so, we have to ensure that the child not only learns well, but also learns happily and, in the process, develops into a confident, complete person. Our philosophy is realised through the personal attention we extend to each child and our encouragement of open lines of communication between students and faculty. Our students should have firm roots in our land, our culture, our language and our ethos. At the same time, we want our students to develop a world-view and become universal citizens who are aware of, and at ease with, other cultures, religions, viewpoints and lifestyles. Education involves far more than the acquisition of knowledge. The real achievement of education is teaching students to enjoy the process of learning and to apply all that they learn to real life situations. Cocurricular activities and a collaborative learning and working culture are as important as academics.
