The Shriram Millennium School

Shri Educare (SEL), promoted by the Arun Bharat Ram family, founders of The Shriram Schools, and Educomp Infrastructure and School Management (EISML), a subsidiary of Educomp Solutions have announced the signing of an agreement with the aim of jointly facilitating independent trusts to set up five schools over the next 2-3 years, leveraging each others strengths. SEL is essentially engaged in setting up K12 schools in India and abroad, providing teachers' training and undertaking education consultancy, while EISML is facilitating schools across India by providing expertise in school management, educational infrastructure as well as learning systems.

To be called The Shriram Millennium Schools, the new schools will imbibe the core ideals enshrined in the pedagogical philosophy of The Shri Ram Schools (TSRS) while leveraging Educomp's deep commitment to educational excellence exemplified through the Millennium Schools concept. The first Shri Ram School was established in New Delhi in 1988; since then, they have carved out a unique space for themselves as institutions of excellence. In September 2009, TSRS was for the second year running, rated the best day school in the country by an independent, 15-city survey carried out by Education World magazine. The schools are well known for their value-based innovative, caring and child-centred approach to educating young children.

While the overall guidelines and framework of the curriculum, courses, contents, teaching methodology, academic policies and pedagogic strategies will be provided by SEL, they will be continuously augmented and enriched by the internal research and development efforts of both partners.
